New Business Developer _
audiovisual design & integration (avdi), a leading audiovisual technology company in South Africa, is currently seeking an Audio Visual Sales Associate with a strong desire for personal growth and reward. We are looking for individuals who understand that success in selling is about preparation, restraint and hard work.
Develop, maintain and expand the client relationship
Selling our technology solutions with a consultative approach
Prepare estimates and bid responses that are complete, accurate and profitable
Communicate regularly with customers, develop a successful action plan
Establish professional relationships with manufacturers, consultants, architects and contractors
Forecast monthly sales and aggressively meet quota
Attend weekly sales meetings
Willingness to attain industry certifications and attend training sessions
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of sales experience and possess exceptional communication skills. This position requires sales acumen and drive. The successful candidate will also be well versed in current technology trends, live by the golden rule;
enjoy helping others, and value long term relationships.
Minimum 2 year degree in a related field (Business degree preferred)
Results oriented and self-starter A MUST!
Knowledge of audiovisual technology preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Exceptional follow-up skills

Installation Technician _
The preferred candidate will possess 1-2 years audiovisual installation experience and will have excellent customer service skills. Experience with audiovisual system setup and troubleshooting is preferred. The preferred candidate will be familiar with Crestron/AMX control systems as well as Tandberg/Polycom VTC platforms. Manufacturer training such as Extron, Crestron, Biamp, Tandberg, Polycom, Cisco, or Christie is a plus.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 1-2 years audiovisual installation
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to troubleshoot complex audiovisual systems
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work independently
• General mechanical aptitude and a working knowledge of hand and power tools preferred
• Construction experience preferred
• CTS and DMC-T preferred
